Tony Iommi & Glenn Hughes – Fused (2024 2×LP Blue Vinyl Reissue)

Description

Fused is one of the heaviest and most emotionally charged collaborations between Tony Iommi and Glenn Hughes — a thunderous, modern‑metal record originally released in 2005 and long considered a standout in both artists’ later‑career catalogues. Hughes delivers some of his most powerful, soulful vocals, while Iommi’s guitar tone is crushing, dark, and unmistakably his own.

This 2024 reissue spreads the album across 2×LP for improved dynamics and low‑end clarity, pressed on blue coloured vinyl that gives the release a striking visual identity. The expanded tracklist includes bonus cuts like “Slip Away,” “Let It Down Easy,” and “The Innocence,” making this edition the definitive way to experience Fused.

The production is thick, atmospheric, and modern, with tracks like “Dopamine,” “Grace,” “I Go Insane,” and “The Spell” showcasing the full weight of Iommi’s riffcraft paired with Hughes’ soaring, emotional delivery. It’s one of the most cohesive and fully realised studio projects the two ever recorded together.
