Virgin Steele – Life Among the Ruins (2×LP Blue Vinyl)

Description

Life Among the Ruins is Virgin Steele’s bold pivot into a more melodic, hard‑rock‑driven sound — a passionate, emotional, and richly expressive album that blends arena‑rock swagger with the band’s trademark dramatic flair. David DeFeis delivers one of his most soulful vocal performances, while the songwriting leans into hooks, groove, and heartfelt storytelling.

This 2×LP Blue Vinyl edition presents the full album plus the complete Vertical Soul Suite, giving collectors the definitive expanded version. From the seductive pulse of “Sex Religion Machine” to the bluesy swagger of “Jet Black,” the atmospheric “Cage of Angels,” and the emotional weight of “Never Believed in Good‑Bye,” the album showcases Virgin Steele’s versatility and depth.

The second LP features the full Vertical Soul Suite, including “Wild Thing,” “The Moonrise in Your Skin,” and the powerful closer “Flesh & Blood.”

A passionate, melodic, and deeply expressive chapter in Virgin Steele’s catalogue — essential for fans of their hard‑rock era.
