Yep. During the 1992 Los Angeles riots, the band were recording in Burbank when armed police stormed the building, ordered everyone out, and shut the session down. The chaos, tension, and anger from that night directly inspired the writing of “Foreclosure of a Dream.”

That’s the kind of real‑world fire that shaped this album — and you can hear it. This wasn’t just Megadeth tightening their sound. This was a band creating under pressure, curfews, and literal civil unrest outside the studio doors.
