Opeth – Ghost Reveries (2018 2×LP Reissue)

Description

Ghost Reveries stands as one of Opeth’s most celebrated and transformative albums — a masterwork of progressive death metal, dark atmospherics, and intricate musicianship. Released during a pivotal era for the band, it blends crushing heaviness with haunting acoustic passages, psychedelic textures, and Mikael Åkerfeldt’s seamless transitions between growled ferocity and clean, emotive vocals.

This 2018 2×LP reissue gives the album the spacious, dynamic presentation it deserves. Spreading the record across two discs enhances clarity and depth, allowing the dense arrangements of tracks like “Ghost of Perdition,” “The Baying of the Hounds,” and “The Grand Conjuration” to breathe with full power. It’s a premium modern pressing of one of Opeth’s most essential works.
