Van Halen – 5150 (2026 Black Vinyl 40th Anniversary Reissue)

Description

Released in 1986, 5150 marked a seismic shift in Van Halen’s history — the first album with Sammy Hagar, and the beginning of the band’s chart‑dominating second era. The sound is bigger, brighter, and more melodic, blending Eddie Van Halen’s evolving guitar style with a stronger emphasis on hooks, harmonies, and synth‑driven textures.

The 2026 black‑vinyl reissue brings this multi‑platinum classic back into circulation with crisp, clean sound and the original artwork fully restored. For collectors of either the Roth or Hagar eras, this is an essential piece of the Van Halen story.

Featuring massive hits and fan favourites like:

• “Why Can’t This Be Love”

• “Dreams”

• “Love Walks In”

• “Best of Both Worlds”

This is the album that launched Van Halen into their biggest commercial decade.
