Ratt – Dancing Undercover (1986 Japanese Pressing LP • VG+ • P‑13388)

Description

Dancing Undercover finds Ratt leaning into a faster, sharper, more hard‑edged sound while keeping all the sleaze‑rock swagger that made them one of the kings of the Sunset Strip. This 1986 Japanese Pressing (P‑13388) delivers premium Japanese mastering, crisp fidelity, and high‑quality packaging, complete with Obi (VG+), original liner notes, and a VG+ sleeve. The vinyl itself is graded VG+, making this a strong collector’s copy of a classic mid‑80s hard‑rock album.

Japanese pressings from this era are prized for their quiet vinyl and superior clarity. Wholesaler notes mention slight scratches to the obi, banded liner, and standard age‑related wear, but overall this is a clean, well‑preserved copy with full packaging intact.

Musically, the album is packed with high‑energy Ratt essentials: “Dance,” “Slip of the Lip,” “Body Talk,” and “Enough Is Enough.” It’s one of the band’s most aggressive and underrated releases — tight, punchy, and full of attitude.
