Description
Recorded live during Rage Against the Machine’s infamous performance outside the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles, August 2000, this release captures the band at their most volatile, politically charged, and musically explosive.
Originally issued as a Record Store Day 2018 limited edition, this LP documents a blistering six‑track set delivered to a massive crowd just moments before police intervention escalated into national headlines.
Pressed in Europe by MPO, lacquer cut at Masterdisk, and mixed at Blender Post, this edition is a high‑quality archival snapshot of Rage in full revolutionary mode.
Why This Record Is in the Crimson Vinyl Collection
This is one of the most historically significant Rage releases — not a studio album, but a moment in time.
For Crimson Vinyl, it’s essential because:
• It captures the band’s rawest live energy, unfiltered and politically urgent
• It’s a limited RSD pressing, highly collectible and increasingly scarce
• The mastering and pressing quality are excellent for a live document
• It pairs perfectly with the self‑titled debut and Battle of Los Angeles for fans building a complete RATM run
This is Rage at their most confrontational — a must‑own for collectors of protest music, live recordings, and RSD exclusives.
