Description
Rock ’N’ Roll (1987) is Motörhead at their most ragged, swaggering and unapologetically loud. This edition mirrors the original European LP release, complete with the classic Joe Petagno artwork and printed inner sleeve featuring lyrics and photos.
Recorded across Master Rock and Redwood Studios in London and mixed at several iconic UK studios, the album captures the band in a transitional but fiercely creative period. Lemmy, Phil Campbell, Würzel and Philthy Animal Taylor deliver a tight, gritty record that blends rock ’n’ roll attitude with Motörhead’s trademark heaviness.
The pressing includes the full original tracklist, including “Eat the Rich,” recorded for Peter Richardson’s film of the same name.
Why Crimson Vinyl Stocked It
Because Rock ’N’ Roll is one of those albums that always hits — a cult‑favourite era with a loyal following!
Collectors love this one for its raw production, its lineup significance, and the fact that clean copies of any edition are getting harder to find. This imported reissue fills a crucial gap for fans building out the mid‑80s Motörhead catalogue.
