Megadeth – Endgame (2019 180g Black Vinyl Reissue)

Description

Originally released in 2009, Endgame is one of Megadeth’s most critically acclaimed modern‑era albums — a ferocious, technically sharp return to high‑speed thrash.

The 2019 BMG/Echo reissue brings the album back to vinyl for the first time in a decade, pressed on 180‑gram black vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve. The remaster was handled by Ted Jensen, known for work with Pantera and Mastodon, giving the album improved punch, clarity, and low‑end definition.

Pressed at Optimal Media GmbH, this edition is widely regarded as the definitive modern pressing.

Why This Record Is in the Crimson Vinyl Collection

This album is Megadeth firing on all cylinders — razor‑sharp riffs, political venom, and some of Mustaine’s best songwriting since the 90s. I’ve always loved how Endgame balances technicality with aggression, and this remaster finally gives it the sonic weight it deserves.

Why it belongs in the Crimson Vinyl catalogue:

• Ted Jensen remaster gives the album a modern, powerful edge

• 180g pressing ensures premium sound and durability

• Gatefold packaging elevates the presentation

• A fan‑favourite that consistently ranks among Megadeth’s best post‑2000 releases

This is one of those albums that sells itself the moment a collector sees it on the shelf.
