Judas Priest – Rocka Rolla (1974 / 2025 50th Anniversary Edition)

Description

This 50th Anniversary Edition of Rocka Rolla brings Judas Priest’s 1974 debut roaring back with a full remix and remaster, pressed on 180g blue vinyl and housed in a premium gatefold sleeve. Originally recorded live in the studio and produced by Rodger Bain, the album captures the band in their formative, blues‑driven, proto‑metal era — long before they evolved into the leather‑clad metal titans of the late ’70s and ’80s.

Featuring early classics like “Never Satisfied,” “Run of the Mill,” and the atmospheric suite “Winter / Deep Freeze / Winter Retreat,” this edition offers enhanced clarity while preserving the raw, organic feel of the original sessions. Essential for collectors who want the definitive modern pressing of Priest’s earliest chapter.
