Description
This 2022 Repertoire Records reissue of Rocka Rolla brings Judas Priest’s raw, blues‑infused debut back to life with a fresh remaster and a striking red translucent vinyl pressing. Originally released in 1974, the album captures the band before their transformation into heavy‑metal pioneers — blending hard rock, progressive touches, and early hints of the dual‑guitar attack that would later define their sound.
Featuring early classics like “Never Satisfied,” “Run of the Mill,” and “Cheater,” this edition offers improved clarity while preserving the gritty, live‑in‑the‑studio energy of the original sessions. Essential for collectors exploring the roots of British metal and fans who want a premium modern pressing of Priest’s earliest era.
