Description
Originally released in 1990, this 35th anniversary edition of Painkiller is the album that redefined Judas Priest and reshaped heavy metal for the decade that followed. Faster, heavier, and more aggressive than anything in their catalogue, the record introduced drummer Scott Travis and launched the band into a new era of speed and precision.
From the opening scream and double-kick assault of the title track to anthems like “Hell Patrol,” “A Touch of Evil,” and “Metal Meltdown,” Painkiller is pure steel — sharp riffs, relentless energy, and Rob Halford at his most ferocious.
A cornerstone of heavy metal history, this vinyl edition is essential for collectors, Priest devotees, and anyone building a serious metal collection.
