Description
Recorded at the legendary Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Live at Budokan captures Helloween at full power in front of one of the world’s most passionate metal audiences. Released in 2024, this 12″ double vinyl LP documents the band’s modern era — tight, confident, and expansive — blending classic material with the energy of a band fully aware of its legacy.
The performance showcases Helloween’s trademark precision: massive twin-guitar harmonies, soaring vocals, and an audience that amplifies every chorus. This is not a raw bootleg-style live record; it’s a professionally recorded, stadium-scale performance, mixed to preserve clarity while retaining the electricity of the room.
On vinyl, the dynamics breathe. Crowd noise swells naturally, drums hit with weight, and guitars retain their bite without compression fatigue. It’s a listening experience designed for collectors who want to feel present, not just hear the set.
Why this record is in the Crimson Vinyl collection
It was a celebration when Kai Hansen and Michael Kiske rejoined Helloween a few years ago — and Live at Budokan is a moment of reflection and triumph. This album represents Helloween standing confidently in the present while honouring decades of influence. For collectors, it’s a document of longevity done right: not nostalgic, not diluted, but powerful, current, and earned.
