Description
Live at the Rainbow ’78 captures Foreigner’s original lineup at the peak of their early powers, performing a sold‑out show at London’s legendary Rainbow Theatre on April 27, 1978.
The concert was restored from the original film reels, then newly remixed and remastered for this 2019 vinyl release.
This 2LP set showcases the raw, hungry version of Foreigner — tight, energetic, and firing on all cylinders just as their debut album was dominating charts worldwide.
The setlist includes early hits “Feels Like the First Time,” “Cold As Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” and “Double Vision,” plus deep cuts that highlight the band’s musicianship and chemistry.
The pressing comes from Rhino Records, manufactured by Optimal Media, and presented in a gatefold sleeve.
Why Crimson Vinyl Stocked It
Because this is prime‑era Foreigner, restored beautifully and pressed on a high‑quality 2LP set that collectors consistently chase. Fans love these archival live releases, and this one features the full original lineup — a major selling point.
It’s a perfect companion to Live in Chicago, All Engines On, and the band’s 70s/80s studio catalogue.
