Description
Sanctuary marks Evanescence’s powerful 2026 return — a widescreen, emotionally charged modern rock album that blends cinematic production, electronic textures, and the band’s signature gothic intensity. Amy Lee’s vocals are at their most dynamic, shifting from ethereal vulnerability to full‑force catharsis, supported by the band’s tightest and most collaborative lineup to date.
This 2×LP edition features a Side D etching, making it a visually striking collector’s piece. The production lineup includes heavyweights like Jordan Fish, Zakk Cervini, Nick Raskulinecz, and Alex Seaver, giving the album a polished, contemporary edge while retaining the dramatic Evanescence identity fans love.
Musically, Sanctuary moves between explosive anthems (“Beautiful Lie,” “Self Destruct”), atmospheric introspection (“Forever Without You”), and sweeping emotional climaxes (“Sanctuary,” “Wide Open Heart”). It’s one of the band’s most ambitious and fully realised studio albums.
