Avantasia – The Metal Opera Pt. II (2026 Blue with White Splatter Vinyl)

Description

Reissued in 2026 on striking blue with white splatter vinyl, The Metal Opera Pt. II continues the epic fantasy saga launched by Avantasia’s debut. Originally released in 2002, this second chapter expands the universe with grander arrangements, deeper storytelling, and some of the most iconic vocal performances in the project’s history. The 2026 coloured‑vinyl edition gives the album a premium, collector‑grade presentation worthy of its legendary status.

The album opens with the monumental “The Seven Angels,” a 14‑minute symphonic‑power‑metal masterpiece that stands among Avantasia’s greatest achievements. The journey continues with the soaring “No Return,” the mystical “The Looking Glass,” and the urgent “In Quest For.” Side C delivers emotional and dramatic highlights including “The Final Sacrifice,” “Neverland,” and the fan‑favourite “Anywhere.” Side D closes the opera with the dark intensity of “Chalice of Agony,” the atmospheric “Memory,” and the climactic finale “Into the Unknown.”

A must‑have for Avantasia fans, coloured‑vinyl collectors, and anyone wanting the definitive premium edition of one of the most beloved symphonic‑metal rock operas ever recorded.
