Description
Horror Show is Iced Earth’s dark, theatrical tribute to classic monsters and horror‑film legends — a full‑blown concept album that blends power‑metal precision with cinematic storytelling. Each track reimagines an iconic figure such as Dracula, Frankenstein, The Phantom of the Opera, Jekyll & Hyde, and Im‑Ho‑Tep, wrapped in the band’s signature galloping riffs and dramatic arrangements.
Originally released in 2001, this album marks the debut of drummer Richard Christy and features bassist Steve DiGiorgio, adding technical depth and intensity to the band’s sound. Horror Show remains a fan‑favourite for its atmosphere, musicianship, and ambitious narrative scope — essential listening for collectors of US power metal and theatrical heavy metal.
