Metal Church – The Dark (2026 Reissue)

Description

The Dark stands as one of Metal Church’s most iconic releases — a razor‑sharp blend of US heavy metal and early thrash influences, packed with muscular riffs, soaring vocals, and a dark, atmospheric edge that set the band apart in the mid‑80s metal landscape. The album’s mix of speed, melody, and brooding tension helped cement Metal Church as one of the most respected bands of the era.

This 2026 reissue brings renewed clarity and punch to the album’s production, giving tracks like “Ton of Bricks,” “Start the Fire,” “Method to Your Madness,” and the haunting “Watch the Children Pray” a fresh, powerful presence on vinyl. It’s a modern, high‑quality pressing that preserves the grit and intensity of the original while delivering improved fidelity for collectors and fans.
