The Darkness – Permission To Land (20th Anniversary Gatefold • 2023 Reissue)

Description

Permission To Land is one of the most explosive hard‑rock debuts of the 2000s — a glam‑revival blast of riffs, falsetto screams, and tongue‑in‑cheek swagger that instantly made The Darkness a global phenomenon. This 2023 20th Anniversary reissue presents the album in a premium gatefold sleeve, offering updated packaging and a modern, high‑quality pressing that brings new life to its massive hooks and theatrical energy.

Why This Record Is in the Crimson Vinyl Collection

This anniversary edition earns its place in the Crimson Vinyl catalogue because it represents a perfect fusion of nostalgia and modern collectability. It’s a defining early‑2000s rock album, anchored by the iconic “I Believe In A Thing Called Love,” and this reissue gives collectors the best contemporary version available. The gatefold presentation, improved pressing quality, and enduring fan demand make it a standout modern‑classic title.
