Bow Wow – Bow Wow (Japanese Pressing LP • 1976 • VG Condition • SJX‑10179)

Description

Bow Wow’s self‑titled 1976 debut is a cornerstone of early Japanese hard rock — raw, energetic, and packed with the youthful fire that would later help shape Japan’s heavy‑metal movement. This 1976 Japanese Pressing (SJX‑10179) delivers premium first‑edition Japanese mastering and packaging, complete with Obi (VG) and original liner notes.

The vinyl is graded VG (Media) and the sleeve VG+, with the obi also VG. Wholesaler notes mention liner torn near obi, conspicuous scratches on the board, and obi discoloration, all typical of a naturally aged mid‑70s Japanese LP. Despite cosmetic wear, the record remains a strong collector’s copy of Bow Wow’s earliest and most historically significant release.

Musically, the album blends hard‑rock swagger with proto‑metal grit, delivering standout tracks like “Hearts On Fire,” “Foxy Lady,” and the epic “James In My Casket.”
