Description
Released in 1978 as part of the four simultaneous KISS solo albums, Ace Frehley quickly became the standout of the bunch — raw, riff-driven, and unapologetically rock ’n’ roll. While the other members leaned into concepts and experimentation, Ace Frehley delivered pure, street-level hard rock.
Powered by swaggering guitar work and unfiltered attitude, the album produced the hit “New York Groove” and cemented Ace’s reputation as the band’s most instinctive and dangerous player. It’s loose, loud, and effortlessly cool — exactly what fans wanted.
Decades later, Ace Frehley remains an essential hard rock record and a cornerstone of any KISS-related vinyl collection.
