Description
Originally released in 1984, Give ’Em the Axe is the debut EP that launched Lizzy Borden into the American heavy metal spotlight. This 2021 Metal Blade reissue brings the cult‑classic back to life with a clean, punchy remaster and a faithful reproduction of the original artwork.
The EP captures the band’s early blend of theatrical shock‑metal, soaring vocals, and razor‑sharp riffing — the sound that would later define their place in the US metal underground. Tracks like “Give ’Em the Axe,” “Kiss of Death,” and “No Time to Lose” showcase the band’s signature mix of glam‑tinged attitude and traditional heavy metal power.
