Description
Lachrymose Monuments of Obscuration finds Hooded Menace at their most atmospheric and crushing — a towering slab of death‑doom that blends suffocating heaviness with mournful melody and eerie, cinematic tension. Released Seasons of Mist, the album showcases the band’s evolution into a more dynamic and expressive form of doom‑laden extremity.
The 2024 black‑vinyl edition delivers the album with weight, clarity, and the full sonic depth it demands. The artwork — bleak, ornate, and unmistakably Hooded Menace — looks incredible in full LP scale, making this pressing a centrepiece for collectors of modern doom and death metal.
