Flotsam and Jetsam – Rats in the Temple (2×LP Black Vinyl)

Description

Rats in the Temple is Flotsam and Jetsam’s latest assault — a razor‑sharp, modern thrash record packed with precision riffing, melodic hooks, and the band’s trademark intensity. Decades into their career, Flotsam remain one of the most consistent and underrated forces in American thrash, and this album proves they’re still swinging harder than ever.

This 2×LP Black Vinyl edition spreads the album across four sides, giving every track the space and punch it deserves. Side A opens with the ferocious “Harvesting the Hate,” followed by the atmospheric “The Ghost Behind My Door” and the driving “The Edge of Nowhere.”

Side B hits with the crushing title track “Rats in the Temple,” the dark “Last Rites,” and the high‑speed attack of “First on the Spike.” Side C keeps the momentum with “Damnation,” “Blame the Knife,” and the war‑themed “A Taste for War.” Side D closes the album with a massive four‑song run: “Absolution,” “Her Blood Your Pain,” “Anthem for the Broken,” and the defiant closer “Not Goin’ Down That Way.”

A modern thrash powerhouse — essential for Flotsam collectors and fans of tight, melodic aggression.
