Description
The End represents a major turning point for Wolfgang Van Halen’s Mammoth project — the first album released simply under Mammoth, signaling a confident new era. Pressed on classic black vinyl, this 2025 edition delivers the album in its purest, no‑gimmicks form.
Wolfgang performs every instrument and vocal, crafting a tight, melodic, riff‑driven hard‑rock record produced by longtime collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette. The sound is polished yet punchy, blending modern rock energy with the musical DNA of his family legacy.
Why It’s in the Crimson Vinyl Catalogue
Black vinyl remains the collector’s baseline — the format purists trust for consistency, durability, and playback quality. For an album with this level of musicianship and emotional weight, the standard pressing is often the one fans reach for first.
It’s also a strong seller for modern‑rock collectors:
• Wolfgang’s profile continues to rise globally
• Mammoth has a loyal, fast‑growing fanbase
• The album is tightly produced and vinyl‑friendly
A clean, reliable, high‑quality pressing that fits perfectly into Crimson Vinyl’s modern‑rock lineup.
