Evildead – The Underworld (2026 Remastered LP)

Description

The Underworld is Evildead’s second studio album, originally released in 1991 on Steamhammer/SPV and widely regarded as a cult West Coast thrash gem. In 2026, the album was remastered by Bill Metoyer bringing renewed clarity and punch to its razor‑edged riffs and politically charged lyrics.

This 2026 LP reissue stays faithful to the original tracklist, delivering a tight, aggressive 11‑track run that moves from environmental and geopolitical themes to urban decay and psychological turmoil. It’s classic early‑90s thrash with crossover bite, wrapped in Ed Repka’s unmistakable cover art.

Why this record is in the Crimson Vinyl collection

Crimson Vinyl stocked this edition because it’s a fresh, high‑quality remaster of a cult thrash record that never had the mainstream reach of the Big Four but absolutely holds its own musically.
