Description
Released in 2024, Black Star is a short, powerful burst of epic doom metal from Candlemass — a compact four‑track EP that blends classic slow‑burn heaviness with the band’s unmistakable melodic gloom. This Black Vinyl pressing keeps the aesthetic pure, heavy, and traditional, perfectly matching the band’s iconic doom‑metal atmosphere.
Side A opens with the massive title track “Black Star,” a slow‑crushing doom anthem, followed by “Corridors of Chaos,” a riff‑driven descent into classic Candlemass territory. Side B delivers two iconic covers: a faithful yet doom‑laden take on “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath,” and a raw, heavy version of Pentagram’s “Forever My Queen.”
A must‑have for collectors of Candlemass, doom metal, and traditional black‑vinyl pressings.
